When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) and other metadata. By submitting photos to any NECCC-sponsored event, competition or exhibition, members grant NECCC permission to use the photos in any way the council deems appropriate, including submission to other council sponsored competitions and use in internal or external promotional materials. NECCC may also use posed or candid photos taken at NECCC functions to publicize NECCC activities. Submitters retain the exclusive copyright to their photos and will not be required to provide additional consent or acknowledgement for the council’s use of their photos. They will not receive compensation for the use of their photos.
